Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney is Amal Ra. Alamuddin, a Lebanese British legal practitioner and human rights advocate. A graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her extensive and impressive profession in the areas of human rights and international law has won her international recognition. Clients include a number of high-profile nation-states, including Armenia and its struggle to get the Turkish Government recognize that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged, and was later was married with American actor George Clooney, instantly making her famous in pop culture. Before her marriage, she was admired and well-known within the legal community due to her accomplishments in defending clients. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of work to do, that ranges from social justice and issues relating with human rights, to representing multinational companies in court, and in negotiations regarding government regulation. In 2015, she's a barrister one type of legal representative for British courts at London-based Doughty Street Chambers.
