Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984, is one of the wealthiest and most well-known comedian. She's appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March, 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Following appearances in bits in a variety of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea began her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. She began appearing often on sketch comedy and sitcoms later in the year. Following her win in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel programs. She was a captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is an ongoing contestant on its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the daughter of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. The only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet, who committed suicide after Bea turned three, was an sufferer of self-harm. She was told about his passing at 13 years old. As a way to honor the man she loved, Bea took the stage-name Bea and, in the year 2017, published an article on suicides that affected her family for The Guardian. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were brought up in a home by Helen Moloney, a instructor and trainer of jockeys who was a professional jockey. The family was passionate about horses and races. Bea was a child a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue racing as a career. Instead she loved the artistic arts.
