Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is known for the roles she played as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her professional career in the show business at an early age. When she reached the age of 16, Alexandra had landed leading roles in several shows on television. Her fame was due to her portrayal as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated films that feature the divas. Alexandra worked on several notable national and international projects throughout her career. These projects included British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as other. Additionally, she was part of both jury for the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
